We re Number One!Maine Golf Tennis Academy is America s 1 Junior Tennis Camp selected by Sports Illustrated KIDS We have developed a complete instructional tennis camp program with the combined knowledge from the leading tennis countries, in order to ensure your child receives the latest technical, tactical, psychological and physiological components. We Nurture, Support and Challenge each player according to their goals. Students are first introduced to the tactical situation, then the technical skill, followed by the psychological requirement and last the physical elements needed to perform the skill at any level of ability. When exposed to this system for four weeks they begin to make clear decisions and apply the proper action each time the ball is sent to them, resulting in a well rounded and well adjusted athlete. We Offer Four Levels of Instruction: Beginner for campers new to the game Intermediate for the 8-12 year old player seeking more consistency Advanced for those who aspire to playing on their high school team and or local tournaments Advanced for the tournament level athlete We are a 100-year-old, family-owned and operated, specialty combination summer camp. Campers live on a crystal clear lake in traditional cabins, with 8-9 campers and two counselors who live with them.
